Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Grade C Security Guard to join our team in the Warehousing Division of our client's company. The primary responsibility of the Security Guard will be to ensure the safety and security of the premises, personnel, and assets within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Patrol designated areas of the warehouse premises to detect and prevent unauthorized entry, theft, vandalism, or any other suspicious activity.
2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats promptly.
3. Conduct routine inspections of the warehouse facility to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
4. Control access to the warehouse by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
5. Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms or medical incidents, and take appropriate action as per company protocols.
6. Report any security breaches, incidents, or hazards to the appropriate authorities and maintain detailed records of such occurrences.
7. Collaborate with other members of the security team and warehouse staff to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
8. Assist in the implementation of security measures and protocols to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
9. Provide excellent customer service to all individuals entering or exiting the warehouse premises.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by the Security Supervisor or management.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Proven experience working as a security guard, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
3. Valid Grade C security license or certification as required by local regulations.
4. Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
8. Basic knowledge of security systems, including CCTV and access control.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
11. Clean criminal record and background check
