    We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team at the University of Fort Hare. This is a 3-month contract opportunity with a monthly basic salary that is market-related and negotiable.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Safely transport goods to customers and suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries according to schedules.
    • Load, unload, and verify stock before and after deliveries to guarantee product integrity.
    • Maintain the company vehicle in clean and roadworthy condition, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
    • Assist with general logistics and warehouse duties when required, supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain.
    • Provide excellent customer service by being professional, neat, and friendly, effectively communicating with dispatch, sales, and customers.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • A valid Code 10 driver's license with a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is essential for this role.
    • A Grade 12 (Matric) qualification is necessary for consideration.
    • A minimum of 3 years of driving experience in a similar role is required, demonstrating your ability to safely operate a vehicle and manage logistics.
    • Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) are crucial for clear interaction with colleagues and customers.
