Duties & Responsibilities
- Managing and leading direct reports (brand managers and omnichannel lead)
- Alignment of people and plans within marketing (including omnichannel) to organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure marketing (including omnichannel) incorporate company, EMEA and global strategies or tactics.
- Ensure marketing (including omnichannel) adhere to J&J, industry and marketing codes of conduct.
- Provide input into and/or coordinate if appropriate with regards to companywide initiatives and programs that seek to improve outputs, results and/or processes.
- Holds responsibility for the organization marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy plan for the business targeted towards existing and new markets.
- Maintains a high level of collaborative and alignment between marketing and sales (including omnichannel)
- Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills to portray an ability to move and inspire teams in a unified direction and vision.
Business Results

- Effectively manage product inventory and forecasting
Compliance
- Comply to HCC, HCBI, SOP and Safe Fleet requirements.
- Ensure that safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects, and contracting vendors.
- Ensure HCC and legal requirements are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors.
- Ensure inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of a recent CV and individualized Job Description
Strategy
- Provides strategic direction and ensure strategies are implemented and aligned between sales and marketing.
- Reviews, challenges, guides, and manages development and execution of new and existing brand strategies/plans, growth tactics and action plans (life cycle management, launch readiness and execution)
- Assists in development of optimal Integrated Market Access Plans across the portfolios; identifies scenarios and growth opportunities.
- Ensures effective use of value excellence frameworks and launch readiness trackers.
- Effectively manage marketing assets (promotional material) and assessing appropriateness
- Ensures effective control and tracking of marketing metrics/plans and proactively takes corrective action to guarantee that marketing objectives fall within designated budgets.
- Supports key organizational decisions e.g. divestures and integration of platforms/projects
- Oversees and implements market research and guides adjustments to strategies to meet competitive and marketing conditions.
- Manages and guides omnichannel lead to effectively contribute to CVT's and the business as a whole.
- Effectively manages the communication of value propositions.
- Ensures a customer centric approach in marketing strategies incorporating an understanding of customer needs and trends.
- Stays abreast current industry and market trends and gathers strategic insights to help shape the market and make decisions.
Analytics
- Undertakes detailed analysis of sales performance, competitive environment, marketing strategies and trends to identify strategy successes/weaknesses and/or opportunities.
- Effectively utilizes and guides the use of analytics tools and resources to measure brand positioning, message recall and implementation, and channel effectiveness.
- Effectively analyses competitor strategy and data to determine long term strategies and sustainable advantage.
Internal and External Customer Focus and Relationships
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with industry stakeholders and key strategic partners/customers.
- Develops strong relationships with cross border teams.
- Ensures cross team collaboration, communication, and networking.
- Anticipates market/industry barriers and identifies new opportunities to create business impact and longterm strategies.
People Focus and Development
- Maintains staff performance and engagement by effective recruitment selection, performance evaluation and reviews, coaching and training of employees.
- Retains staff through effective development of talent to create sustainable competitive advantage.
- Performance manages each individual and monitors accordingly.
- Periodically reviews resources to ensure effective focus on identified business areas and optimization.
