We have an opening for a Banqueting Manager in Centurion.The position manages the daily operations of the Banqueting Department, ensuring that conferences and functions run smoothly and that guests are happy and satisfied with service.
Main duties:
Daily running of the Banqueting department
Monitor and manage departmental inventories and assets
Responsible for consistently implementing the service standards and operating procedures.
Provide excellent guest service and ensure guests needs are met.
Manage events from set up to break down.
Guide the servers in a set-up of tables and place settings
Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details
Coordinate with the kitchen and housekeeping department as required.
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in a Banqueting Managerial role in a 4 star hotel.
Hospitality Management qualification would be an added advantage
Work well under pressure
Proficient in MS Office
Guest and service driven
Exceptional Interpersonal Skills
Excellent Communication Skills
High degree of self motivation and ambition
Good knowledge of Food & Beverage and Banqueting
Salary is R25 000 CTC. The company offers provident fund.
