Our client is looking for a Production Foreman in Centurion to start asap.

Salary
CTC R35k - R40k monthly

Cash only package - no additional benefits

Duties

Overseeing of production operations
Efficient planning of production schedules to ensure production demands are met.
Maximising resource efficiency
Ensure production targets are met.
Ensuring material comply with production and quality standards.
Ensuring that material is produced, packaged, labelled, stored, and distributed correctly.
Waste Management
Identify areas for improvement in process, material and/or equipment.
Stock/Inventory Control
Identify training needs and ensure competency of personnel.
Identifying, implementing, and maintaining of corrective, preventive and improvement actions
Maintaining knowledge of processes and equipment
Troubleshooting of any production related issues
Liaising with other functions such as Quality and Maintenance and other Production Departments
Coordination of maintenance and repair efforts with the Maintenance Department to ensure mínimal downtime whilst upholding the required/expected maintenance standards.
Ensuring that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Develop and work within departmental budgets
Attendance and inputs for Management meetings
Implementing new, maintaining current and enforcing policies, procedures and Health & Safety protocols as prescribed by ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and company rules.
Logistics coordination and control
HR related duties including but not limited to:
Shift allocations, leave, overtime
Staff recruitment
Training and mentoring
Disciplinary and performance management
Regular reporting, maintaining production records and other administrative tasks.

Profile

Has a relevant technical qualification. (preferably)
Has 3 years + experience in the Production Management of a Manufacturing Plant.
Has experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems as well as SHEQ Management. OSHAS 18001 or ISO 45001 will be an added advantage.
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate where appropriate.
Knowledge of applicable labour laws and experience in dealing with personnel matters.
Proficient with MS Office software to complete reports and logs.
Nonsmoker is preferred
