    About the Role

    Our client, a UK-based software company targeting manufacturing businesses in the US or EMEA, seeks a Sales Representative to drive growth and partnerships.

    Main Responsibilities

    The company operates globally with 50 staff members across three offices, providing MES solutions with cutting-edge integrations. They empower clients worldwide, from small machine shops to Fortune 500 giants, to transform their operations and streamline processes.

    Desired Experience & Qualifications

    You will work remotely from South Africa, focusing on international clients. Key responsibilities include:

    • Building calling lists and conducting up to 200 cold calls per week to book sales meetings for the Account Executive Team.
    • Sending emails and LinkedIn messages to establish connections and drive opportunities.

    We welcome candidates who speak a second European language besides English, as this will be beneficial in business interactions.

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • Prior experience in selling industrial software like CAD, CAM, ERP, MRP, or MES is desirable but not essential.
    • A minimum of one year's business-to-business sales experience, including cold calling and sourcing new business.
    • A completed University Degree in Mechanical Engineering is a non-negotiable requirement.

    Benefits & Compensation

    We offer a competitive package including:

    • A basic salary ranging from R25,000 to R30,000.
    • Commission paid in dollars, $300-500 per signed deal originating from your sales opportunity.

    The sales cycle typically spans 2-9 months, depending on deal size and segment. You will receive a company-provided laptop capable of making international calls. It is your responsibility to maintain a stable Wi-Fi connection with a load-shedding backup.

    Typical working hours can be flexible, accommodating different time zones, but the following options are available:

    1. Option 1 - EU/US role: 11:00 to 20:00 (including a 1-hour break) SA time; 09:00 to 18:00 UK time.
    2. Option 2 - US role: 15:00 to 24:00 (including a 1-hour break) SA time; 13:00 to 22:00 UK time.

    You will be entitled to paid sick leave and holidays.
