Actuarial Analyst (Delictual)
Requisite Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's or
BTech Degree (NQF 7) with specialisation (major) in any one of the following: Accounting, Applied Mathematics, Banking, Economics, Econometrics, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, Operations Research and or Statistics.
A minimum of
2 years' experience in calculating compensatory damages for loss of income and loss of support.
Key Responsibilities:
Quantum determination for damages arising from death and injury.
- Loss of income / loss of profit
- Loss of support.
Calculating compensatory liability in:
- Deceased estate matters
- Divorce and maintenance cases
- Labour dispute claims
- Criminal negligence
- Medical malpractice.
Financial auditing & forensic investigations.
Technical Proficiencies:
Strong EXCEL skills
VBA programming ability (advantageous, but not essential).

- Excellent communication skills
- Results oriented and deadlinedriven
- Financial acuity and business mindedness
- Sound judgement and high degree of integrity.
Remuneration:
Market related.
