    Description

    Job Title: 1st Line Support Agent and Trainer

    We are recruiting for a key role that combines technical support and training to ensure our customers receive efficient and effective assistance with our software.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide timely and professional technical support via phone, email, or chat.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot software, hardware, and network connectivity issues.
    • Deliver step-by-step guidance to customers to resolve problems efficiently.
    • Evaluate complex issues and escalate them to the appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution.
    • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and solutions in our ticketing system.

    Training Role:

    • Develop comprehensive training materials for users of our application.
    • Monitor trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
    • Update training materials regularly to reflect changes in products or procedures.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Matric certification.
    • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ (or similar) Support/call center certifications and/or degree in Information Systems.
    • A minimum of 1 year experience in an application support desk environment with practice management software provided to specialists.
    • Strong understanding of troubleshooting and excellent communication skills.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking.
    • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written forms.
    • Familiarity with help desk software and ticketing systems.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

    Essential Skills:

    • Computer literacy in MS Office (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
    • Ability to adapt and learn new skills.
    • Ability to multitask effectively.
    • Cope well under pressure.
