    Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

    We are seeking a high-performing sales professional with an Agronomy/Agriculture background to join our team in the Limpopo area. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting plant nutrition solutions to current and potential clients.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crop needs and be able to develop effective farming practices through research, sample taking, and testing. They will work closely with farmers to provide ongoing support and develop long-term relationships.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Main Duties & Responsibilities:

    1. Grow a new or established territory of clients and maintain strong relationships with farmers.
    2. Achieve targets as set out by management.
    3. Outline and achieve distribution and growth objectives/sales goals within a specific geographic area.
    4. Introduce innovative solutions, promote improved distribution, and provide client beneficial reports.
    5. Stay up-to-date on business/market conditions, plan sales efforts, recognize new opportunities, and maintain necessary territory records.
    6. Build trust and confidence with farmers through product knowledge, presentations, and objection handling.
    7. Publish sales and admin reports on activities and circulate them to management.

    Desired Skills & Qualifications:

    1. Matric qualification.
    2. Sc./diploma/degree and/or previous sales background.
    3. Previous experience as an Agronomist / Agriculture related sales experience.
    4. Work experience in the agricultural inputs industry is preferred.
    5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
    6. Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Programs.
    7. Decision-making and planning skills to analyze information, evaluate results, and make best decisions.
    8. Ability to identify new opportunities and exploit them for the company's benefit.
    9. Familiarity with marketing techniques and concepts relevant to the agriculture sector.

    Compensation

    Basic Salary + Company Vehicle + Commission.
