Duties:
The role of the RA Lead is to lead the EIS team in the delivery of a project from

requirements analysis to deployment through design, development, testing and

documentation. During High level design the RA Lead works closely with the IT

Architect to advise on the best technological building blocks and methodologies to

be used to address the data-centric requirements of a project, and then performs

low-level design for the EIS implementation teams. The RA Lead is also responsible

for impact analysis, effort estimates and timeline management.

The RA Lead will also be required to perform data-analysis and data-modelling

tasks which can form part of the requirements definition and design stages of a

project; or as ad-hoc requests. The RA Lead will be responsible for delivering the

functional design of all projects assigned to them and driving the delivery of the

solution with the development team.

Client is busy with implementing an enhanced Revenue Assurance and Fraud

Management platform and requires a large amount of data to be available from

the EIS Big Data environment in order to be ingested into the RAFM RAID tool.

  • Take responsibility for the design and delivery and accuracy of the data being
curated.

  • Design Lead.

  • Conform to the reporting standards as stipulated by the BICC and EIS (Data
Management and Data Governance).

  • Conform to the design principles as stipulated by the RAFM team.
  • Attendance at all relevant meetings, presentations and workshops.
  • To document all processes identified during interactions with Business in
order to form an accurate record of engagement.

  • Conform to Bright-I reporting standards and PPPs when building in EVA.
  • To provide weekly feedback on activities and statuses.
  • Key Stakeholder engagement.

  • Review the impact that possible code changes may have on data marts.
  • Troubleshoot data issues from the business source systems and provide
guidance and/or present solutions to these issues.

  • Work together with key business unit stakeholders to prioritize projects and
data requests.

  • Oversee the integration of data to the data warehouse.
  • Collaborate with assigned business units to understand their business
intelligence needs and devise possible solutions.

  • Arrange regular sessions with customers to inform, educate and facilitate
feedback.

  • Oversee integrity of reports, both when developing new reports as well as
when executing existing scripts to ensure data is accurately presented.
