Buyer - Construction Industry

Location:
Modderfontein, JHB

Salary:
R350k per annum

Role Description
This is a full-time in office role for a Buyer.

The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials and services necessary for the organization.

The Buyer will be responsible for effectively managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely delivery of products while adhering to budgets and quality standards.

The Buyer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of purchases and monitoring inventory levels and making sure that all departments have the correct raw materials in time.

Qualifications

Prior experience as a buyer.
Construction Industry experience will be a big advantage
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed purchasing decisions
Familiarity with construction standards and onsite experience
Proficiency in procurement software
Experience in the construction industry is compulsory
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple priorities and projects
Must live near site in Modderfontein.
