Minimum Requirements:

Own car and valid license
Degree educated or equivalent experience
Food Safety certification
Audit Management Experience
Health & Safety certification
5 Years Airline Operations with at least 2 years Catering exposure
2 Years FMCG Operational/Warehouse Experience or similar
Continuous Improvement Experience
Contract Management Experience
Strong people management skills
Strong business communication verbal and written.
Sound knowledge of operations and business best practice.
An ability to read and understand legal agreements.
Strong interpersonal skills
Robust financial and analytical & methodical
Able to work with attention to detail.
Problem solver & innovative
Planning and coordinating ability and skilled
IT Skilled across Microsoft Platforms or similar, WMS and or similar management platforms.
Trustworthy
Strong leadership experience
Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
Flexibility and responsiveness to change and ability to lead others in challenging environments.
Proactive and forward thinking
Experience in managing teams across multiple locations.
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices - Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Strong knowledge of warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Emotionally mature
Experienced in front face customer experience.
Able to guide and mentor individuals, resolve conflict.
Exercise self-reflection - able to self-correct and be flexible / adapt to change.
Ability to cope with and handle variable workload.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Operations Controller will take complete ownership of operational budgets.

Lead Operational team, implement the Companies Retail strategy with personal KPIs and objectives to both their own and team to deliver client service expectations and business growth.

Analysing Operations teams task, training development, welfare, productivity data and optimising their capacity.

Monitor and optimise the KPI metrics setting ambitious but realistic efficiency targets to proactively contribute to customer satisfaction and business growth.

Auditing current processes and working with all relevant teams across the business to map out and execute optimisations and automations that will improve both process and cost efficiencies.

Provide strategic leadership for the complete fulfilment process in warehouse environment for a fast-paced B2C and B2B platforms.
Put in place operation strategy for international growth and development.
Work with international caterers/warehouses to improve efficiency, implement best practice warehouse management design to optimise space and maximise performance.
Owner of Stock Management - Physical and systemic.
Needs to understand all contractual obligations to customer and caterer. Manage Operations team to deliver and manage the business in line with service contracts.
Support Head of Supply Chain & Operations Global in all aspects of the business.
Experienced in liaising with internal and external customers, performance review meetings, managing queries, ensuring contractual requirements are being met.

Lead and manage projects ie New Business, New Warehouse implementation, co-ordinate periodic launches with other Company departments, investigate business critical issues.

Owner of Operation Manuals and ERP Standard Operating Manuals to ensure all aspect of operations are covered from systems and process perspective.

Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety and Customs and Excise regulations is being delivered by caterer/warehouse and correctly governed with all accreditations up to date.

Deputise as required in the absence of the Head of Supply Chain & Operations Global
Be prepared to work Flexible hours and out of hours escalation (Standard Hours - Monday to Friday
