Description
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in FMCG market
- Relevant Degree/ Diploma in sales or marketing
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Understanding of basic business principles eg pricing, marketing, distribution
- Proactive thinker eg evaluate situation
- make decision
- Identify potential "distributors/wholesalers" in smaller towns who currently sell to local businesses, cafes, spazas eg a Cash & Carry or a supermarket that sells to smaller retailers and consumers.
- Negotiate listing/stocking of products.
- Negotiate advertising/merchandising opportunities to create awareness that the store stocks the products.
- Generate first order.
- Build the relationship and business over few months until ready to hand over to the company to look after.
- Areas to call on: cross border towns (eg Zim, Botswana, Mozambique); towns on SA borders (eg Musina, Komati, Beit Bridge); local towns in the area
- Must have a valid drivers license and passport
