    Organisational Design Specialist 6-month Contract

    Job Summary:

    The Organisational Design Specialist will design and optimise organisational structures, operating models, and workforce frameworks to align with strategic business objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct in-depth analysis of existing organisational structures, processes, and operating models to identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop solutions that enhance operational efficiency, employee engagement, and business performance.
    • Design and implement optimised organisational structures that balance workforce capacity, functional responsibilities, team-centricity, and cost efficiency.
    • Develop job architectures against job streams and corresponding job profiles, and define role governance to ensure effective and accurate application.
    • Refine and develop process maps to ensure transparency and traceability.
    • Conduct impact assessments to identify potential workforce and role changes and define mitigation strategies.
    • Define a workforce transition approach and plan, creating supportive documents and templates to assist in any transition required.
    • Develop an implementation plan to operationalise the structures & roles designed.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • Expertise in job architecture, organisational design, and operating model development.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, engage with senior stakeholders, and drive change.
    • Consulting/enterprise transformation experience.

    Contract Details

    • Contract Duration: 6 months.
    • Location: Hybrid (Remote & On-site in Johannesburg, South Africa).
    • Start Date: As soon as possible.

    About the Role

    The successful candidate will join an existing team of organisational design specialists working with the Design team, HC Business Partners, and Senior Leaders in delivering exceptional design solutions to our Business.
