    Job Title: Fortinet Engineer

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team at Carlysle Human Capital. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing the installation and configuration of new Fortinet devices, collaborating on network design and architecture, and supporting the integration of Fortinet solutions with existing systems.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Plan and execute the installation and configuration of new Fortinet devices.
    • Collaborate on network design and architecture to enhance customer infrastructure.
    • Support the integration of Fortinet solutions with existing systems.
    • Perform physical installations and replacements of network hardware.
    • Provide technical expertise to support sales teams in customer engagements.
    • Monitor device performance and conduct routine health assessments.
    • Review and recommend updates to security policies to maintain robust defenses.
    • Plan and execute firmware upgrades across Fortinet devices.
    • Implement approved changes to policies as per change requests.
    • Be available for on-call support for urgent issues.
    • Escalate major outages or issues to Fortinet's Technical Assistance Center (TAC) when needed.

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

    • Fortinet Product Expertise:

    • Proficient in firewall management and troubleshooting.
    • Skilled in centralized device management.
    • Knowledgeable in analytics, logging, and reporting.
    • Strong understanding of Fortinet product functionality.
