    Description

    Job Title: Full Stack Developer

    Typically 6 – 12 month contracts for a talented Full Stack Developer with 4+ years of experience.

    We are seeking a passionate professional who has a knack for migrating applications from GCP to AWS and is well-versed in cloud technologies.

    The Position

    The successful candidate will design, create, test and document new and amend complex solutions in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes.

    This role involves working closely with product owners and testers in small scrum teams to deliver the highest quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

    The candidate will act as a role model, continually looking for opportunities to drive change & improvements both at a personnel and team level.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Developing applications within project teams
    • Designing, coding, testing & maintaining bespoke systems
    • Analysing and resolving defects and issues
    • Participating in scrum ceremonies and providing 3rd line support for in-house applications
    • Leading code reviews and secure code audits
    • Mentoring less experienced members of the team
    • Championing the department's development and security policies
    • Driving change and improvement within the team
    • Serving as a role model for individuals and team members, setting a standard, acting professionally at all times and working to a professional code of conduct and ethics
    • Developing systems according to development policy and security guidelines
    • Utilizing Azure DevOps as a Microsoft application lifecycle management tool
    • Using Git within Azure DevOps for source control of all code projects
    • Leading out of hours releases on behalf of their discipline
    • Working effectively in a team environment often under pressure
    • Taking responsibility for the work of others as well as their own
    • Maintaining awareness of developing technologies and driving own development
    • Developing others within the team and improving technology and processes used by the team
    • Demonstrating a detailed understanding of systems or equivalent
    • Showcasing passion and aptitude for coding and creating enterprise level solutions
    • Being proficient in Microsoft development technologies
    • Familiarity with T-SQL, Unit Testing, Visual Studio IDE, GIT, and DevOps
    • Holding strong troubleshooting skills and being open to new ideas and flexible to change
    • Showing passion for continuing education and improving code quality
    • Understanding how to develop secure applications and avoiding common security pitfalls
    • Demonstrating an understanding of the dynamics of being a trade association
    • Possessing strong time management skills and good verbal and written communication skills
    • A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related subject preferred
