Brief Description

This is a full-time three-year (3 year) contract position.

Duties:

Provide support for the research endeavour carried out in the school. Included in the routine tasks will be participant communication and appointment scheduling; administering study questionnaires; take participant through consent process; perform physiological measurements on humans; compile and maintain full research records for all participants and feedback on all activities; data capture; data post-processing; data management; maintenance of research equipment and procurement of research-related items.

Minimum Qualifications :

A three-year post-matric qualification in a Health Science – related discipline.

One to two years relevant experience.

Advantages:

Having experience working in a clinical research laboratory.

Having experience with physiological measurements in humans.

Being computer literate including data management and analysis programs (eg. REDCAP, Microsoft Excel, Statistics [eg. R]).

Fluent in English, isiZulu and/or Sesotho.

Having phlebotomy skills.

Remuneration:

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
