    Job Summary

    The Slitting Machine Operator is responsible for operating a slitting machine efficiently, meeting pre-defined production and waste targets. The role requires producing high-quality products that meet specified quality norms and following industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene compliance.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate the Slitting Machine to achieve optimal production and minimize waste.
    • Maintain product quality by adhering to quality department specifications.
    • Identify and rectify machine-related issues promptly, minimizing downtime and coordinating with the maintenance team.
    • Promote a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with industrial safety, food safety, and personal hygiene standards.
    • Ensure daily input and output reconciliation of consumed raw materials and produced printed material.
    • Foster a positive working relationship with colleagues and superiors.

    Performance Metrics:

    • Monitor actual production vs. set targets daily and monthly.
    • Track actual process waste vs. set targets, ensuring finished products exceed customer expectations.
    • Manage internal/external quality complaints related to produced products.
    • Meet external quality complaint and rejection targets after sales.
    • Adhere to personal and industrial safety guidelines.
    • Follow QMS and Food Safety Compliance while operating the machine.
    • Complete learning and training on machine operation within set timelines.

    Requirements:

    • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or ITI with 2-6 years of relevant industry experience.

    Desirable Skills:

    • Knowledge of mechanical systems.
    • Basic computer skills, including MS Office applications.
    • Presentation skills.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    Salary:

    Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum.
