Job summary
Manage a team of Product Managers and Account Managers Joint calling with the sales team Manage a portfolio for Coatings and Construction Ensure a healthy working platform in line with division and company objectives Ensure materialization of the working platform Setting a clear sales strategy for local and abroad markets New business development Actively looking for opportunities outside the current portfolio for possible acquisitions Meeting tight deadlines across the business Directing assertively pushing the sales team to promote new products look at new markets Having a healthy active relationship at key accounts Ensuring all departments are on board making sure our CRM system is up to date Working capital management debtors days no bad debts stock holding targets are met ensuring all departments are taking stock as per forecast Forecasting every month Reporting back on monthly sales vs previous year vs budget with comments Continuously searching for opportunities within market Ensuring market data is relevant updated market intelligence Strategically growing customers base year on year in terms of volume revenue margins Growing customer base year on year in terms of volume revenue margins Assisting selling teams technical briefs product development Carrying out price negotiations senior levels Promoting company products image Industry/market knowledge within current industries responsible.
