    Responsibilities

    Technical

    • Installation, repair, certification, and technical support of electronic products and systems to meet high technical and safety standards on specified mines
    • Set up and test units to meet specified requirements
    • Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets company quality policy
    • Troubleshoot problems to determine root cause and recommend corrective action or escalate issues to senior level
    • Maintain electronic equipment and software to ensure compliance with company standards and client scope of work
    • Record maintenance requirements and report further needs
    • Assist with new projects
    • Operate hand tools and small power tools and understand their use and function
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
    • Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor/Manager

    Support

    • Liaise with technical employees and customers to ensure quality and safety of work and contractual obligations are met
    • Keep supervisors updated on unresolved and potential problems affecting customers or the company
    • Provide regular feedback to Technical Coordinator and Supervisor
    • Support Senior Technician and Supervisor on assignments and works in other departments as instructed
    • Develop customer relationships
    • Complete required documentation, reports, and paperwork for mines, customers, and Technical Coordinator/Superintendent

    Health and Safety

    • Adhere to all customer safety regulations at all times
    • Conduct risk assessments before commencing daily tasks
    • Ensure valid medical certifications and inductions
