Description

Gauteng, Ekurhuleni Well known mining company in Emalhahleni requires the services of a Plant Manager.

Will be responsible and accountable for the following, with the required qualifications:

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering
510 Years experience in a Pyrometallurgical operation, preferably Rotary Kiln operation
MDP will be an advantage
Valid driver's license
Computer literacy

Tasks & Outputs:

For the economically and effective operation of the Kiln
Must have previous Kiln working experience
Report any safety related issues
Manage production skills
Be responsible for innovative and for the design and implementation of change initiatives
Manage labor
Ensure alignment of all processes
Ensure the proper change management standards are followed
Seek out cost saving initiatives
Ensure effective discipline and compliance with the company's disciplinary code
Monitor clocking and ensure relevant payroll matters are handled

Build competencies through support, on the job coaching and participation in training and development initiatives.
