Description
Receipt of packaged and bulk goods - ensuring packs are scanned into SAP

  • Dispatch of packaged material
  • Local and export ensuring documentation is correct
  • Confer and coordinate activities with other departments
  • Customer service / production/ lab/ engineering to ensure all tasks are completed as required.
  • Run required SAP reports to ensure timeous processing ( CO27 / MB52/WMS)
  • Ensure all relevant checklists are completed daily and filed e.g. forklift checklist.
  • Take responsibility for highrisk tasks and permit to work clearances that could lead to injury e.g. working at heights.
  • Maintain Safety Standards, rectify and report safety hazards promptly.
  • Correct storage of stock maintaining WMS system
  • Carry out PJOs on personnel, identify areas that require attention and update procedures and training as required
  • Ensure Effective communication with subordinates
  • Plan leave roster to prevent minimum disruption.

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Matric
  • Diploma in either Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehousing Management or NQF equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
  • Handling of Chemicals in warehouse.
  • Must be computer literate
  • SAP Knowledge advantageous
