Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 and or equivalent experience (Tertiary advantages)

2 year's management experience in the role preferably from the Gambling sector
***:

Fully computer literate

Able to work long hours / weekends / Public Holidays

Clear criminal & ITC record

Responsibilities:***-
Responsible for the day to day running of the business.
***:
-
Prepare, discuss, and implement annual budgets as approved by the Board of Directors.
***:
-
Manage the branch in line with the approved annual budgets managing, monitoring & reporting monthly.
***:
-
Analyse & report on monthly revenue & expenses compared to budget.
***:
-
Implement intervention strategies to address any revenue shortfalls or expense budget overruns. 6. Interview, Recruit (with management approval), train and deploy staff to meet the needs of the business.

Prepare staff rosters to meet the demands of the business.
***:
-
Plan, obtain approval & implement promotions in conjunction with the Board of Directors.
***:
-
Ensure that all income & expense is captured & recorded within the appropriate accounting systems.
***:
-
Ensure that the operation is run strictly in accordance with the Internal Control Procedures & Gambling Board Rules and Regulations.
***:
-
Check all petty cash is approved by authorized personnel, that all purchases are received, that receipts and change are checked.
***:
-
Ensure the appropriate control of all assets & cash on the premises
***:
-
Ensure that banking of cash is done daily in accordance with approved procedures.
***:
-
Check the daily cash reconciliation reports and provide detailed explanations of all variances.
***:
-
Ensure that customer service receives the highest priority within the operation and that suitable staff training is conducted in this key area on a regular basis.
***:
-
In conjunction with the Security Supervisor and Duty Managers, develop and implement an alarm system test program.
***:
-
Chair monthly staff meetings to share information and ensure that all staff are appropriately informed and made to feel like a vital part of the business.
***:
-
Monitor the cash float level in the safe and ensure that it is always between the pre-set levels.
***:
-
Ensure that Key Controls are adhered to.
***:
- **Liaise closely with the Duty Manager regarding any key events during the relevant shifts. 21. Perform any other tasks reasonably requested by the Board of Directors.
