Requirements:


  • Matric (Senior Certificate)
  • At least 5 years proven experience within pumpstation
environment

  • A valid Code EB(8) Driver's License
  • Required to work in all weather conditions
  • Physically fit and able bodied
Key Performance Areas

  • Performs tasks/activities associated with the operation of
water/sewerage pump stations within Reticulation.

  • Investigating any abnormal pump station conditions and if
possible take appropriate action to rectify.

  • Monitor and report on performance of pumps and
do security checks.

  • Issuing of permits to relevant role players to access
pump-station sites in order to ensure activities are executed

in accordance with laid down instructions, guidelines and

that general and specific safety procedures are complied with.

  • Transporting personnel, material to/ from specific locations.
  • Supervising and assist subordinates in the cleaning of wet
wells and removal of sand, debris and fat build up from sumps

  • Completing all relevant documentation as required by the
Employer in order to comply with laid down procedures

and policies
