Your Team
Reporting into the Cyber Security Manager (Assurance) and Assistant Chief Information Security Officer, this
is an entry level role within the Cyber Governance and Assurance Team for Group Technology. The roles
responsibilities include Cyber Security and Technology Governance and Analyst duties to keep the Group's
Information Assets Secure, Available, Flexible and Enabled (SAFE). You will work as part of an experienced
team that you can learn from. You will also have a People Leader to help you grow and develop in your
career.

Your Duties and Resposibilities

  • Governance related tasks and activities across Group Technology covering regulatory, legislative, contractual and Group obligations (inc Group) Frameworks & Policies.
  • Conduct the Quarterly Risk reviews for Group Technology.
  • Managing 3rd party Cyber Security risk reviews & attestations. This includes reviewing and assessing 3rd party Cyber Security responses.
  • Further developing your Assurance, Risk and Cyber Security skills & knowledge.
  • Support the IT Leadership team with Governance, Assurance, Risk and Cyber Security matters.
  • Assisting with External, Internal and Line 2 activities across Group Technology including the responses to items or findings.
  • Assisting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Office with Governance activities across the Group.
  • Producing scheduled and adhoc analysis, assessments & reports.
  • Assisting with Governance related Technology Forums.
  • Staying up to date with new and emerging Cyber Security threats, technologies, standards and operating models.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Group Risk, Internal Audit and other risk or compliance related areas across the Group.
  • Cyber Security and Governance related research and presenting findings.
  • Further developing your Technology Governance, Assurance, Risk and Cyber Security skills & knowledge.

Required Knowledge and Experience:


Knowledge

  • Understanding of with Active Directory, Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Protection Systems, SIEM technologies, Office 365 and Azure
  • Understanding of Cyber Security and Technology assurance, risk & compliance
  • Understanding of Cyber Security frameworks, standards, tools, techniques and methods
  • Detailed understanding of ACSC advisories and the Essential 8 as well as ISO 27001 & NIST
  • Proven experience with finding and assessing information or data, completing analysis and then reporting results.
  • Understanding of cloud computing systems and services
  • Industry certifications highly regarded
