    Inventory Planner Role

    We are seeking a skilled Inventory Planner to join our client's retail team.

    Main Responsibilities

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Providing insights into supplier accounts and product ranges.
    • Promotional Planning and Replenishment: Ensuring timely and cost-effective replenishment of products.
    • Supplier Account Management: Coordinating supplier accounts to optimize ordering patterns and frequency.
    • Item Parameter Setting: Configuring item parameters to enable accurate forecasting results.
    • Order Placement: Placing supplier purchase orders to meet inventory and service level targets.

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, candidates must have:

    • A Matric with a degree in Supply Chain or a relevant qualification.
    • A minimum of 2 years' experience in supply chain management.
    • Excellent product knowledge.
    • Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, especially Excel, and pivot tables.
    • SAP knowledge is essential.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
