Millwright Role in Automotive Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our client's team within the automotive sector based in KZN.

Your role is crucial in ensuring our machines run at optimum efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and providing expert support in PLC equipment management.

Post-Trade experience of 5+ years in automotive manufacturing or heavy manufacturing as a qualified Millwright with Red Seal Qualification.
Experience and ability to understand, read, diagnose, and program PLCs.
Robotics knowledge and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Strong faultfinding and analytical skills are essential.
Medically fit for long working hours and capable of working under pressure.
Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.

Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery, ensuring optimal efficiency, and providing expert support in PLC equipment management.

The ideal candidate should have post-trade experience of 5+ years in automotive manufacturing or heavy manufacturing as a qualified Millwright with Red Seal Qualification.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing complex mechanical issues, managing maintenance schedules, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals.
