Airfreight Imports Controller Distribution / Transport / Logistics / Supply Chain ~ ICT

Johannesburg North, Johannesburg - Gauteng - South Africa

Reporting to the Director based in Europe, you will be required to oversee international freight to South Africa. You will in addition support shipments to South Africa and other parts of Africa.

Essential Qualification, Skills & Experience:

Related BA or similar degree in supply chain/logistics a preference
Over 2 years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics in the ICT sector
Knowledge of IT equipment and consumable product certifications will be highly advantageous
Fluent in English. The ability to communicate in other European languages is an advantage
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP etc. is an advantage

Key Result Areas:

Cooperation with 3PL service providers
Coordinate storage and shipment
Participate in customs clearance procedures, providing all the required documents
Process customers' orders and send warehouse orders
Issue invoices and send required shipping documents to the customers
Be able to advise on optimal logistic solutions for each shipment
Get quotes from freight forwarders
Certification support
