    Senior Sales Consultant

    We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Consultant to join our Sustainable Technology - Distribution Division based in Linbro Park, Gauteng. This role will work closely with customers to grow and promote the sale of Rubicon products.

    Sales Consultant Responsibilities:

    • Align sales plans for assigned customers.
    • Develop action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects within assigned sales regions.
    • Pursue profitable and sustainable sales growth through engagement with current, potential, and dormant customers within the assigned sales region.
    • Perform B2B sales activities.
    • Meet and exceed sales goals as assigned by the Division Head of Energy.
    • Schedule regular customer meetings to foster strong relationships.
    • Maintain productive, long-term professional relationships with decision-makers at customer organizations.
    • Cultivate and close sales through professional communication and interaction with current and potential customers.
    • Collect and maintain information on accounts, organization, preferences, and needs of current and potential customers.
    • Manage customer requirements, understanding their problems and goals.
    • Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
    • Provide technical advice to support customers.
    • Create account plans for assigned customers and identify value opportunities.
    • Communicate sales or service opportunities and customer concerns or suggestions.
    • Investigate, track, and resolve customer concerns or complaints.
    • Coordinate sales team efforts to provide exemplary service to customers.
    • Research sources to develop prospective customers and expand market awareness of Rubicon products.
    • Prepare Quotes and participate in marketing events.

    Role Requirements:

    • Minimum Matric/NQF4 equivalent qualification.
    • At least 2-3 years of experience as an External Sales Consultant in the solar energy industry.
    • Relevant industry experience and knowledge required.
    • Engineering background an advantage.
    • Effective communication skills essential.
    • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence necessary.
