The following position based in
Cape Town has become vacant within Safe Top (Pty) Ltd

JOB TITLE:
Receiving Clerk

EDUCATION:
Minimum Grade 12 with a drivers and forklift licence

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 3 years in Warehouse Receiving Environment

MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE

Management and control of stock received and movement of shipments coming into the warehouse
Properly allocating the location of incoming stock
Communicate with Team Leader and Factory Manager with regards to offloading of stock
Unloading deliveries from vehicles
Ensures that all stock is accurately received and documented
Conduct and maintain stock counts and quality control procedures for incoming shipments
Inspection of all orders received and report any damages and discrepancies to the Stock administrator
Ensure that no damaged stock is received, and process returns thereof
Match GRN notes with stock received
Check invoice and purchase orders with goods received
Receiving and signing for deliveries
Maintain records of goods received
Ensure that receiving area is neat, orderly, and safe always.
Manage relationships with all internal and external parties.
Assist when and where required in the warehouse
