    Senior Finance Manager

    An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Finance Manager in the Finance Division.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Preparing monthly reports and analysis thereto.
    2. Presenting reports to executive members.
    3. Group reporting.
    4. Regulatory Reporting for Group.
    5. Income tax and VAT submissions.
    6. Internal Controls management.
    7. Understanding the risks affecting the distribution channels and assisting with the implementation of appropriate systems to mitigate these risks.
    8. Preparing budgets and forecasts.
    9. Monthly processing/reviewing trial balances.
    10. Reviewing/preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
    11. Reviewing of daily payments and detailed analysis of supporting schedules.
    12. Adhoc reports and tasks (e.g. involvement in IFRS17 implementation).
    13. Preparing annual financial statements and notes thereto, including accounting policies. Liaison with internal and external auditors.
    14. Business partner for distribution channels.
    15. Internal and External stakeholder management.
    16. Team management.

    Functional Qualification and Skills:

    1. Qualified CA(SA) or CTA with articles.
    2. Microsoft suite.
    3. Minimum 7 years post article experience and post audit experience.
    4. IFRS technical knowledge.

    Requirements:

    • Candidate must have a strong understanding of finance principles.
    • Must be able to work under pressure.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

    The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year.
