THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for a
Systems Implementer to join our
Productivity team.

This role is highly diverse and would suit someone who has a keen interest in both processes and various systems/digital platforms, i.e.

management consulting. The incumbent will be required to work closely with various Head Office teams/departments.


DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

IT

  • Troubleshooting system clocking data and device issues with the Altron team.
  • Initial setup and creation of the Stores on the Kronos platform
  • Public Holiday/Special event creation and Calendar management.
  • Run accrual resets for leave.
  • FTP and file integration processes.
  • Server & Application (HikCentral) Management.


  • Maintain User Profile

  • Profile changes ie: moving managers between stores or giving assistant manager access while the manager is on leave. Linking of profiles.
  • New stores/ Revamps device management and setup.

Insights

  • Maintain sales and clocking data integrity on databases.
  • Investigating Pipeline and Wrapper failures on DataHub Portal.
  • Reporting, BI and Ad Hoc Analysis.
  • Investigating all scheduling, clocking, hours etc. queries and logging tickets/liaising with call centre agents where applicable.
  • New stores no/poor forecasts.
  • Anomalous hours/sales forecasts.
  • Variances between DataHub and WFD platform.
  • Assisting with Ops/HR queries with regard to analytics of workforce data.
  • Assisting ops with hours forecast queries.
  • HR queries regarding AWOL, PSL and OT.

Payroll

  • Alignment of people structures in store with people structure on FRT devices and onto Kronos Dimensions.
  • Onboarding of new employees on UKG & HIKCentral.
  • Termination of exemployees on UKG.
  • Status Changes (Branch Transfer, Promotions, Employment Terms, Schedule Pattern and Payrule Allocation).
  • Review employment terms and pay rule allocation on UKG for all employees.
  • Review and administer leave integrations between UKG and SAGE.
  • Manage and administer date patterns and dates for pay periods on UKG.
  • Manage and review pay policies on UKG.
  • Manage and review employment terms on UKG.

Productivity

  • Anomaly detection and management of sales data to enable more accurate sales forecasting.
  • Monitoring forecasting accuracy and reporting on issues, problem solving and correction.
  • Updating volume drivers for labour efficiency.
  • Labour efficiency analysis and feedback to the BI team to update reporting.
  • Workforce integrity management, alignment of operational actuals to WFM tools (employees in correct location, job title, status).

People/HR

  • Accurately forecast scheduling demand.
  • Provide accurate reporting.
  • Implementing integration between HL people database (Sage or Kronos) and online learning platform people database.
  • Maintaining alignment of people databases between HL and the online learning platform.
  • Implementing changed architecture of the database to enable accurate reporting of online training KPIs.
  • Reporting on online learning KPIs.
  • Identifying and reporting on gaps in learning material.

REQUIREMENTS

  • BComm Hons (i.e. Accounting, Financial Planning, Economics, etc). OR B Eng OR Business Administration (undergrad) OR an IT degree.
  • Management consulting experience.
  • Competent in Excel (PIVOTS and VLOOKUPS a must).
  • A reasonable understanding of data.
  • Experience with BI tools is advantageous,
  • Solid understanding of labour management.
