    Description

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced motor Mechanic to join our team. As an Auto Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Vehicle Diagnostics: Conduct thorough inspections and utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
    2. Repairs and Maintenance: Perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine repairs, brake system repairs, suspension repairs, electrical system repairs, and other mechanical repairs as required.
    3. Parts Replacement: Remove and replace faulty or worn-out parts such as belts, hoses, filters, brake pads, spark plugs, and other components.
    4. Troubleshooting: Analyze and troubleshoot complex automotive problems to determine the root cause of malfunctions and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
    5. System Checks: Perform regular checks and maintenance on vehicle systems, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and battery performance, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
    6. Documentation: Accurately record repairs, maintenance tasks, and parts used in our computerized system to maintain comprehensive and up-to-date vehicle records.
    7. Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, providing explanations of repairs, recommendations for preventive maintenance, and answering any questions they may have.
    8. Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow established safety procedures and guidelines while working with hazardous materials, tools, and equipment.
    9. Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed to the highest quality standards, meeting or exceeding industry regulations and guidelines.
    10. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and properly use automotive tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition, and report any malfunctions or need for replacements.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    1. Merseta or Red Seal Qualified motor Mechanic.
    2. Automotive Knowledge: In-depth understanding of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components.
    3. Diagnostic Expertise: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
    4. Repair and Maintenance Skills: Demonstrated ability to perform a wide range of automotive repairs and maintenance tasks with precision and efficiency.
    5. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose complex automotive problems and provide effective solutions.
    6. Attention to Detail: Meticulousness and precision in conducting inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks to ensure accuracy and quality.
    7. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to explain repairs and maintenance requirements to customers in a clear and concise manner.
    8. Time Management: Effective organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure timely completion of repairs.
    9. Safety Awareness: Strict adherence to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to minimize risks and maintain a safe working environment.
