Our client, a well established steel fabrication, piping and hydraulics project company, seeks to employ a qualified and experienced SHEQ Coordinator, with a solid background in monitoring, maintaining and improving ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 management systems, to join their team in Cape Town.


KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

  • You will have a Matric, coupled with a Diploma in Safety such as SAMTRAC or NEBOSH, plus at least 35 years of supervisory experience, and a knowledge of ISO 45001/ISO 9001 within a steel work environment.
  • You will have a strong background in management of rigging projects, coupled with managing HSE in the flammable store, ensuring quality management systems are adhered to and management in safety aspects such as security.
  • You must have knowledge of safety policies and procedures, excellent Incident Investigation skills, excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills, as well as training and facilitation management
  • You must be analytical and have outstanding probability and decisionmaking skills with an attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • You must have effective organisational skills, possess cultural awareness and sensitivity, and demonstrate sound work ethics.
  • You must have a valid driver's licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
