OPERATIONS SERVICE MANAGER

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Overseeing assigned engineering and technical projects.
• Developing a budget for maintenance and repairs of all service equipment (compressors, pumps, etc) in the company's plants in conjunction with the Engineering and Operations Executives.
• Planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of servicerelated projects.
• Coordinating pricing, estimating and scoping strategies for proposed servicerelated projects
• Budget management as it relates to maintenance and repairs of service equipment in the company's plants.
• Managing an enterprise asset management system.
• Implementing measurable technical and process development and improvements.
• 35 Years' engineering experience in operation services.
• A BSc Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics or similar (advantageous but an able and experienced N6 level artisan will also be considered).
• The ability to communicate well at all levels.
• Familiarity with FSSC (ISO/HACCP) procedures.
• The ability to negotiate effectively.
• Strong ability to think logically and rationally.
• Good computer literacy with strong Excel skills.
• An assertive and forthright management style with an enthusiastic, positive and selfenergized manner and excellent problemsolving skills.
• A strong financial and commercial aptitude with excellent numeracy skills.
• The ability to work effectively in team.

A project management diploma paired with experience in a plastics manufacturing environment would be advantageous
