    We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Career Internal Salesperson to join our dynamic sales team in Johannesburg, Randburg region.

    Purpose of the Job:

    • To drive sales and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Efforts directly contribute to the overall success of business development and client acquisition strategies.
    • Responsible for generating leads, managing client interactions, processing orders and invoices, promoting products, and resolving client issues.

    Main Responsibilities:

    Client Interaction:

    • Makes calls to new and existing clients to place orders and follow up on their requirements.
    • Built and maintains strong relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service.
    • Handles client calls, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and effectively.

    Order Management:

    • Ensures all orders are processed in a timely manner and confirms order details with clients.
    • Coordinates with the warehouse team on issues, special deliveries, etc.

    Account Management:

    • Generates and processes invoices promptly, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
    • Performs day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, accepting payments, processing, posting, and recording debtors account data.

    Promotions and Sales:

    • Upsells and cross-sells products to maximize sales opportunities.

    Lead Generation:

    • Generates leads and feeds them to Business Development Consultants for further action.
    • Supports client acquisition efforts by identifying and nurturing potential opportunities.

    Product Knowledge:

    • Develops a deep understanding of product categories, suggests alternatives, informs customers of shortages, continuously improves knowledge, and seeks assistance for training when needed.
    • Addresses and resolves any client complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
    • Liaises with internal departments to facilitate quick and effective solutions to client problems.

    Feedback, Reporting & Administrative Duties:

    • Serves as the primary interface between the customers and internal operations teams. Ensures fluid communication and coordination to support project delivery and customer satisfaction.

    Compliance:

    • Adheres to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance in all aspects of the role to maintain integrity and uphold organizational standards.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • A degree in sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

    Experience:

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the packaging or related industry.

    Skills:

    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Working Hours:

    • Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 and Friday 8:00 - 15:00.
