Minimum Requirements
- Grade 1
- Advanced Diploma or National Diploma in Information Technology.
- Advanced computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.
- Technical minded.
- Availability to travel.
Job Related Requirements
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of wireless technology.
Knowledge of medical and optometry equipment advantageous.
Assist in-field staff with operations
Engage with patients pre & post-assessment.
Management of patient flow
Main purpose of the role
Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure LTE/5g router connectivity is available and working at project sites.
- Ensure Wi-Fi connectivity is available.
- Provide IT support to staff.
- Troubleshoot and ensure operation of optometry equipment.
- Troubleshoot and ensure operation of the medical kiosk.
- Troubleshoot and ensure power connectivity to all devices.
- Troubleshoot and ensure LAN connectivity to all endpoints.
General Skills
- Ability to learn fast and absorb new information quickly.
- Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate on large projects.
- Friendly demeanour with great interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving skills and high level of communication skills in English.
