- Main Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents, and obtain sign-off from users for functional and/or technical design documents.
- Propose solutions to improve support of new business processes.
- Debug ABAP code using Workbench-related knowledge of new development/enhancements.
- Set up organization structures for Sales & Distribution processes and perform relevant configuration, including Materials Management where integration requires this.
- Prepare testing documents and perform internal testing.
- Prepare Sales & Distribution templates for various objects, such as sales orders.
- Integrate with other modules.
- Understand interfaces, IDOC, and RFC processing.
- Develop a cut-over strategy for SD objects.
- Prepare user manuals and conduct training for business process owners.
- Support go-live preparation and post-go-live activities.
- Interact with clients through meetings, calls, and communication.
- Troubleshoot operational and maintenance tickets within defined SLAs.
- Provide system support and execute required changes through configuration.
- Analyze and resolve production support calls.
- Raise change requests and write functional specifications.
- Prepare test data for change request testing.
- Test change requests and prepare test results.
- Perform regression testing.
- Interact with consultants from other modules.
- Steer external consultants in allocating deliverables to feature teams and ensure quality assurance of their deliverables.
- Create user interface transactional solutions.
- Analyze and scope end-user authorization roles.
- Update and maintain documentation as existing system functionality changes.
- Execute tasks according to Agile Methodology and attend team meetings, including Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospectives, and Sprint Planning meetings.
- Use the Agile Tool Chain daily, as updates are required by respective feature teams.
- IT degree or relevant qualifications.
- DevOps experience in commercial and/or retail end-user IT applications.
- Experience in at least one of the following technologies: SAP SD, MM, Analytics, HANA, ABAP, or change request management (SAP transports).
- A consultative approach to challenge customers' requested solution design and identify better alternatives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues/users.
- Additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter.
- SAP S/4 HANA.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow with the team.
- Ability to work with foreign customers and be sensitive to language barriers and culture differences.
- Flexibility to take on different tasks in the project.
- Ability and willingness to coach and give training to fellow colleagues and users when required.
- Solution and result-oriented with strong customer focus.
- Understand situational awareness and holistic views on topics.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for up to 2 weeks at a time.
