Group Sales Director


Blue Robot is looking for a Group Sales Director who will bring back a startup mentality to our sales teams.

Someone who is willing to get involved in a client engagement if there is a learning opportunity but knows how to build scaleable organisation structures and sales strategies.


You would be looking after our Core Markets of South Africa and the United Kingdom where there are established teams while working on establishing a strategy for the growth markets which target MENA and key European markets.


Blue Robot's key focus for the sales teams in 2023 is driving the number of active accounts for the business throughout the Core and Growth Markets.


We're looking for someone who will come in and own the sales division of the company, as you'll have the opportunity to speak directly to the board of directors and shareholders and influence and decide how the sales division is run.

Blue Robot is a Social Media automation business which was established in 2015 and has since integrated with Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, Spotify, Pinterest and Twitter and offers experiences which drive engagement between a brand and a user on the platform.

Our Tech is amazing but the ultimate value that we provide to our partners and the brands that we work with is the #SafeHands approach that we deliver for each campaign via our Customer Success team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leading and Mentoring the sales teams
  • Establishing Startup mentality
  • Growing active number of accounts across all regions
  • Sales Structures and strategies
  • Forecasting per quarter / year
  • Driving CRM adoption and accuracy
  • Working with the Sales Enablement team to ensure all Sales Collateral is in place to empower the sales team
  • Enable the SDR team to ensure they qualified leads into the sales team
  • Driving Key Revenue moments and events such as World Cups / Black Friday
  • Managing relationships with key platforms such as Meta and Twitter

Requirements:


  • 5+ years of leading a sales team
  • Digital Advertising experience is beneficial
  • Mindset aimed at scaling the business
