    Description

    Job Summary:

    The ideal candidate should have experience in mould design, especially within a Toolroom environment. Strong expertise in blow and injection moulding design is also required.

    Key Requirements:

    • Experience in mould design within a Toolroom environment.
    • Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
    • Strong understanding of both blow moulding and injection moulding processes.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop moulds for the production of rigid plastic products.
    • Oversee entire projects from initial concept through to industrialisation.
    • Create components according to briefs and provide guidance on material selection and functionality.
    • Manage mould trials and furnish all necessary information to trial personnel.
    • Sourcing of mould components is also an essential task.
    • Collaborate with toolmakers throughout all stages of mould manufacturing.
    • Maintain and update the mould/drawing database regularly.
    • Resolve component and mould issues promptly.
    • Lead various technical projects aimed at improving the toolroom and production processes.
    • Take initiative or collaborate on projects as needed.
