    Description

    Metals Manager Position

    A key role in the Hire Resolve client's operation is available for an experienced Metals Manager based in Gauteng. This position involves overseeing all aspects of metals production, processing, and quality control within the company.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Manage and optimize metal production and processing processes.
    2. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
    3. Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    4. Allocate resources to meet production targets and customer demands.
    5. Develop and maintain quality control measures to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
    6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth coordination between production, maintenance, and logistics departments.
    7. Develop operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

    Requirements:

    1. Matric certificate.
    2. Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Metallurgical Engineering or a related field.
    3. 8 years of experience in a Metallurgical environment within the mining industry.
    4. 2 years of experience in a managerial role.
    5. Experience in pyro-metallurgical and precious metals processes.
    6. Extensive knowledge of SAP and development of metal accounting processes.
    7. Experience in implementing process improvements and operational strategies.
