We are currently recruiting for a WEDDING COORDINATOR for a 5* Hotel in Durban. Our client is a prestigious hotel renowned for their exquisite hospitality and breathtaking event spaces. Their commitment to excellence and attention to detail make them a premier destination for unforgettable weddings.

As their Wedding Coordinator, you will be the orchestrator of love stories, responsible for bringing couples' visions to life.

From the initial consultation to the last dance, you'll ensure that every detail is flawlessly executed, exceeding expectations at every turn.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with couples to understand their vision and preferences.
Coordinate all aspects of weddings, including venue selection, catering, décor, and entertainment.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure services.
Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating and addressing couples' needs proactively.
Oversee event setup and execution, ensuring smooth operations on the big day.
Handle any issues or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

Requirements:

Previous experience in wedding coordination or event planning is highly desirable.
Exceptional organizational and timemanagement skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customercentric approach.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Creative flair and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event planning software is a plus.
