Opportunity Available Our leading client in the Automotive Sector is looking to employ a EHS Officer to join their dynamic team in East London.

Evaluation and communication of legal and other EHS requirements and actively support their implementation

Develop and maintain an EHS Management System based on ISO 14001, ISO 45001
***:
-
Lead the EHS risk evaluation and reduction process, including accident prevention programs
***:

Lead the EHS continuous improvement process
***:
-
Establish and implement EHS training programs, and perform training
***:
-
Ensure proper reporting of EHS topics and KPI ́s
***:
-
Network within the EHS group/regional/divisional functions
***:
-
Interact with the statutory bodies and authorities

Job Requirements:***-
South African title as EHS Officer as per the Occupational Health and Safety Act., Emergency Controller, solid knowledge related to environmental aspects
***:
-
Professional experience >3 years in a similar EHS role
***:
-
Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel); SAP beneficial
***:
-
Excellent communication skills and passion for EHS; team player; training, auditing, and project management skills
***:
-
Fluent in English and Xhosa beneficial.
