    Job Title: SHEQ and Process Manager

    SHEQ and Process Manager is responsible for overseeing the quality management systems, environment management systems, and health and safety practices within the organization.

    About the Job

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Displaying and communicating targets and objectives to relevant personnel
    • Managing the quality of all incoming parts and ensuring that only compliant materials are accepted
    • Leading a team of vehicle auditors and receiving inspection consultants/employees to ensure compliance with quality standards
    • Investigating red table (excess/return) issues and implementing corrective actions
    • Recognizing non-conformances and managing the implementation of countermeasures to prevent future occurrences
    • Ensuring that rectifications are corrected in a timely manner and notifying all personnel accordingly
    • Developing and implementing quality management systems, environment management systems, and safe work practices
    • Conducting ISO audits to ensure compliance with industry standards
    • Preparing and distributing SHEQ reports for action and information purposes
    • Reporting SHEQ issues to the EXCO MBM Production team

    Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you must possess:

    • A Grade 12 Matric Certificate or equivalent qualification
    • A relevant tertiary qualification, technical qualification, or comparable qualification
    • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal relations, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to make decisions, encourage teamwork, and develop and motivate staff
    • Leadership and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products
    • Familiarity with MAN or similar products, technical drawing, and interpretation, as well as knowledge of OHS ACT and road traffic ordinance

    Experience

    Preference will be given to candidates with:

    • At least 8 years of experience in a managerial role
    • 5 years of experience in quality management systems, such as ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHS18001
    • 5 years of experience working with MAN or similar products
    • 1 year of experience in technical drawing and interpretation
    • Knowledge of OHS ACT with suitable training, such as SAMTRAC
    • Knowledge of the road traffic ordinance and vehicle homologation

    Estimated Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum
