Hydraulic Technician - Camperdown, South Africa - Pronel Personnel
Description
Duties:
- Disassemble and inspect hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, motors, and pipes
- Repair pumps, valves, motor, cylinders, and pipes as related to our business
- Test and inspect hydraulic pumps, valves, motors, cylinders, and pipes, etc.
- Install hydraulic components onto inhouse or onsite customer equipment
- Use measuring devices, calculators and myriad hand tools, torque tools and various other tools to service equipment
- Perform onsite maintenance and repair to trailers
- Work dutifully with workshop manager to ensure business runs smoothly
Requirements:
- Excellent mechanical aptitude
- Good at math with analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be capable of learning and remembering the steps/tasks to achieve similar competent repairs in the future
Working hours:
Monday to Friday 07:00 to 17:00, alternate weekends 08:00 to 13:00.
