Picking and Packing Specialist - Bloemfontein - ACDC Dynamics

ACDC Dynamics is a leading manufacturer, importer, and distributor of quality products in the electrical, electronics, pumps, and tools industry.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to assist us in our retail store in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing requisitions and order sheets to pick a variety of items, accurately checking stock for damage and ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.

The ideal candidate will be upstanding, organized, and able to perform under pressure. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat, and well-organized.
• Packing incoming stock away, taking inventory, and reporting shortages.
• Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Picking orders as requested by management.
• Ensuring correct information is attached and moving completed orders to the delivery area.
• Assisting with wrapping and securing orders with stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and strapping.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• Complying with OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Assisting in maintaining the security of the store.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of work experience in a similar role.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work harmoniously with a diverse range of people.
• Proficient with using tools required for the position.
• Physically agile and dexterous.
• Proficient organizational skills.
