Mechanical Design Assistant Airport Industria Salary negotiable

Candidate must be South African, reside within a 20km radius of CPT Airport, must have sober habits, subject to drugs, medical and criminal screening. This position will be office based most of the time however, the candidate will be required to go to site at times.

Job requirements:

Assist Engineers with designs, calculations and materials planning

Assist in cost calculations for quotations

Perform hydraulic calculations for gaseous systems

Assist in drafting of site drawings

Attending site inspections for confirm measurements

Sprinkler piping design work experience

Any water based systems designing i.e., plumbing, reticulation systems

Basic AutoCAD, practical work experience

Tertiary education preferable within the Mechanical Engineering sphere

Experience using hydraulic software packages for deisgns

Drivers license advantageous

Experience not necessary but advantageous (Has worked, taken and obeyed instructions within a team.)

Must have been employed in the formal job market for a period of at least two years.

Good verbal communication skills

Accurate with mathematic calculations

Desire to help team members

Able to follow instructions

Must be physically fit to perform the job.
