The primary responsibilities of a Treasury Analyst include monitoring and managing cash flow, forecasting cash needs, executing financial transactions such as investments, loans, and debt issuance, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Overall, the role requires a strong understanding of finance, risk management, and the ability to make informed recommendations to enhance the organization's financial stability and liquidity.Key Performance Objectives:
    • Creates treasury reports (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
    • Manages cash flow & daily transactions.
    • Selects & utilizes financial technology and documentation methods.
    • Assesses risk and predicts future cash flow.
    • Manages international foreign exchange transactions & assets.
    • Managing bank reconciliations, electronic banking payments, account analytics, and treasury reports
    • Ensures compliance with all regulations & taxes.
    • Assist the treasury accountant on additional tasks when required.
    • Documenting transactions and updating ledgers and the financials database.
    • Assist with ad hoc duties in Financial Reporting including attending to daily business admin queries.
    • Assist with Intercompany process including creating invoices, capturing invoices, executing payment.
    • Assist with the Internal and External Auditors

    Requirements:

    • Studying or completed a Bachelor's degree in commerce with majors in Financial Accounting or BTech in Cost and Management accounting or a professional qualification such a CIMA.
    • Good computer skills with programs such as MS Excel.
    • Strong financial and mathematical abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
    • At least 1-2 years finance experience.
    • Must be based in Durban and surrounding areas.
