Vacancy: Plant Operator

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the plant, ensuring smooth production processes, and upholding quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the plant in good working order through regular basic maintenance and repairs.
Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the plant at all times.
Operate the plant to meet capacity and quality specifications as required.
Contribute to a clean and organized work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
Report any maintenance or production issues to the supervisor promptly.
Follow instructions from the superior and comply with established safety regulations.
Monitor and evaluate the computerized maintenance strategy to ensure optimal reliability.
Be available to work overtime when required to support business needs.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

Grade 12 certification as a minimum.

Experience:

At least 2-4 years of experience in a similar role or environment.

Skills & Competencies:

Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
Able to work under pressure and contribute to a team environment.
Must be medically fit to perform the duties of the job as per the Mine Health and Safety Act requirements.
Pre-employment medical examination is mandatory.
