Job Summary

This Enrolled Nurse position is based at Life Queenstown Private Hospital, reporting to George de Bruin, Unit Manager. The primary objective is to deliver high-quality patient care through various nursing activities.

Critical Responsibilities

• Maintain quality patient care by adhering to SANC regulations, relevant legislations, and Life Healthcare policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe patient environment by maintaining health, safety, and infection control standards.
• Effectively utilize hospital resources.
• Perform regular equipment maintenance.
• Keep accurate patient records.
• Educate patients on their ongoing care.
• Build strong relationships with patients, doctors, and other medical personnel to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

• Hold an Enrolled Nurse qualification.
• Be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
• Ability to work flexible shifts according to the hospital's operational requirements.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry and its challenges would be beneficial.
• Basic computer skills are advantageous.
